timing mark for 1953 TO30 Furguson

I cant find a timing mark in any of the usual places. Can someone help?

Wylie, on a to20 my boss had it was on the flywheel. look for a small cover plate on bell housing. Philip

Look under the starter. There a hole with a notch in it. Marks are on the flywheel. Originally there was rubber plug there but they must have all fallen off "cuz I"ve never seen one.

When you locate the window, turn the engine over by hand to find the marks on the flywheel and clean them off with a spray solvent like brake cleaner. Put some white out on the marks or use a crayon so you can see them clearly when you shoot the timing light at it. It will save you lots of time and trouble.
