Ordering from sears outlet online....... NOT...

Been trying almost a week to order a chainsaw from sears and keep getting an error message.. Phonecalls and no luck, won't take order over the phone and say problem will be fixed ASAP. Got to online chat withem today...

you: I did 3 times.... Told every time that they had contacted web support and the problem would be fixed... What's next?

Rebecca: My apologies but that is the best we can suggest for our customers who wanted to order this item since this item is having a web site issue.

you: You's tellin me that a multimillion buck company like sears #1 can't have a computer glitch fixed in a week and #2 won't make it right by offering another way of ordering it????? Gotta be able to do better than that....

I'll buy stihl when I'm ready, but the local stihl dealerb wants about 800 bucks for the 200T... I'll have my brother get it in the States and mail it to me... In this case, I just accidentally ran across a hitachi 14" tophandle w/ 7 year gaurantee for 149.99........ Startin to think it's just there as bait to get you on the site.......

What's the secret to getting one of these much-vaunted Stihl dealers to pay attention to a new customer?

Too many times I've walked into a Stihl dealer to have the old phart behind the counter glare at me from over his newspaper, another old guy asleep on a stool in the corner. Walk around, not a word. Stand at the counter, not even a flinch.

Walked in one when I was back home a couple years ago with every intention to buy two saws... Told the guy I wanted a top handle and a normal in about a farmboss size..... Guy asked for my credit card up front. Gave him that look and he said he wasn't gonna spend the time talking about them if I didn't have the money to buy them....... told him he could shove them and his shop up his _________ nose :roll: and left.... Makes it hard to feel sorry for the little guy.....
