Hydraulic oil

HI I have a MF711 skid loader which requires 26 gallons and I need to replace the oil. does is it allright to mix different ISO numbers as my source doesn"t carry enough of one kind Thanks DON

While I can't say one way or the other, I do know that people have reported problems using the R&O style fluid in equipment that calls for the Universal (i.e. Hytran/Hygard) style fluid.

He's not much of a supplier if he doesn't have 6 pails of one type of hydraulic oil in stock, or a 30-gallon drum.

Find a different supplier, or wait until he restocks. I have yet to go into a Tractor Supply that didn't have a whole pallet of the Univeral fluid sitting in the store, and another out back.

Iso 32/46/68 all come in the R&O grade. The R&O is not for Hytran systems.

I mixed hydraulic oil from 2 different makers once and got foaming problems. Either one was fine by itself, so I wouldn't take a chance by mixing them.
