M Draw Bar

I have a Farmall M. The end of the draw bar that attaches to the tractor is oblonged. Is it suppose to be like this?

No. It started out round; the last straight M was made in 1951 so your tractor has had at least 61 years of hard work.

Actually, I think that hole is supposed to be slightly oblonged, to allow for different drawbar heights, but yes, 61 years of use will cause it to be way more oblong than it should be.
