I'm in the central flyway and on several occasions, usually Snow Geese come by, in both directions.

One spring a flock of snows were headed home from wintering on the Texas coast marshes and I had a wheat patch. There were about 100 of them and several times I went out and attempted to scare them off....verbally, waving my hat and arms. They would take off, fly a circle around the field at about 50' till I left and land. Stayed around for about 3 days, ruined the wheat patch, and took off for home.

Was pretty.

Now if it were hunting season and I was looking for sunday dinner, "ya think" one would come within 100 yds? Nawwwww.

Nice pic. Glad you noticed you didn't post it. Grin
