Opinion needed on Case IH JX 55

I am looking at a Case IH JX55 with 500 hrs on it. Tractor is very clean and mech.sound. I would use it to mow/ bush hog with and bale hay. Does anyone have one? what are their thoughts on the JX55? My other tractors are a 2955 JD and a 766 IH Thanks in advance Chris

A neighbor has one I have worked on, tractor seems to be a good one. Only problem he has had was fuel. The fuel tank is mounted low and the line coming from the tank has to lift fuel about 2 feet. I installed an electric fuel pump in the line, because it kept loosing it's prime after it set a while.

Our neighbour has one, about the same hours, their only problems are the clutch linkage gets loose once in a while and the key switch is junk, have to jiggle it often. No fuel troubles.

I like using it haying, its short wheelbase steers sharp and they have the tires set in really tight. I also have used it to pickup round bales a few times, I like the reverser and the transmission shifts quite nicely.
