Man, I'd love to. I lived in CO (Col. Springs) for a while. Those areas you mentioned where our favourite weekend hot spots. I liked that little town,Oury? Your in Gods Country! Some day we'll be back.

Well, I nearly visited you some twenty five years ago when I flew into Montrose on my way to Telluride to ski. I was struck by the huge stacks of big squares sitting out there.
 
Ouray.Named after a Ute indian chief.His wife,Chipeta,is also famous as she was the only woman ever allowed to sit in/participate in"peace talks'.
 
Red........was station engineer at KREY-TV in Montrose 1958-60 till the draft came knocking and I joined the USAF and launched missiles downrange outta Vandenberg AFB, Calif. Silverton Narrow Gauge RR went thru my backyard in Durango. I'd catch a ride 1/2-way up the canyon and go fly fishing in the Anamas River. Used to go swimming in Ouray Hot Springs. One summer worked as camp cook fer the Southern Ute's outta Ignacio ........Durango Dell (WA)
