The local retirement center had an oldies day for the residents.Inveted some of us locals to bring old tractors and cars. Had about 20.I took my Field Marshall.It is fun to listen to them reminisce and see the smiles on their faces.
I just got my second Field Marshall running.This was my first outing wit it.

Cool! It was fun talking to the wife's grand ma 2 or 3 years ago when she was 101 years old. She was blind and her body was shutting down but her mind was still there. She remembered moving into Mn in a covered wagon, friends and relatives going off to fight WWI. Raising her own family and watcher her children going off to WWII and Korea, Air travel becoming the norm, the space race, the world going Nuke, The great depression. Grand kids going off to Viet Nam, Gernada, great grand kids the first Gulf war, both Pearl Harbor and 9/11.....What a great lady to spend time with! She was just short of her 102nd Bday when she passed 2 years ago.

Hi Jim, going to a display of Field Marshall tracors at Marshalls old yard at Gainsborough tomorrow. It is now a shopping centre and we park about 30 Marshalls in front of the shops of all series. I do not have a Marshall so a good friend of mine lends me one for the day. Good luck with your outing. MJ
