O.T.Music from the western movies

Being that I'm really not so fond of C/W but do take an avid interest in some. The movie Open Range,where the sheriff is in the jail playing the fiddle, "Whats the name of the fiddle tune and who recorded it for the movie?" No answer from goggle etc.I can duplicate the sound but don't know the whole complete piece. really Interested in hearing the tune in it's entirety .

Seen em and NONE FIT the description I Listed. Philharmonic was not heard in the jail scene. Just the fiddle. But thanks for trying. LOU.

Lou it is the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra performing the song. It is just the violin player only. In the DVD set there is one that had the out takes and behind the scene stuff. It shows the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra performing some of the score. I don't have the DVD anymore but I think my daughter may. She is a Kevin Costner nut.

What I was hearing if totally different from the movie. Son ran the C.D.to where the sheriff was fiddling and it's NOT the same music line. Can't figure where I got the channels crossed. Any way this is the tune I would like to hear in it's final conclusion( c/w only)

Lou- I think it is just a fiddle arrangement of the title track "Holding All My Love for You." From what I listened to on your clip and from the soundtrack, they sound like the same tune, just different tempos, but I don't have the DVD or anything and I wasn't able to watch the scene in question. Listen to the vocal line in that song on the soundtrack and see what you think.

JD. Nope Not even close. Two entirely different compositions. The theme you refered to was played throughout the movie in certain segments.
