I see on most pulling tractors they have replaced the oil bath breather for a small simple one that fits right on the carb. I have looked every where I know, but I can't seem to find one. Anyone know where I can find a 1 1/2," and 2" for my tractors?

If the actual filter is of a too small diameter, even though it fits on the carburetor, it will still be restrictive.

go to napa tell them what you want they can order it for you it is their K&N brand filter they have the round filters in the size you want.

If you are pulling they will be fine but if you are using the tractors you better get ready to overhaul them after a short time. They will not do a good job in work conditions. If you are pulling why not add isopropol alcohol to the oil bath = cools the intake by evaporation and lets you open fuel needle for denser air in summer heat.

I don't pull, I just refurbish them and drive them in parades and tractor drives. But loading and unloading, and hauling in hard rain, when I start the tractor it will blow small drops of oil on my new paint with the oil bath.

i have a K&N filter on my 77 and still get the black specs when i start it. i think they are caused by condensation and soot in the exhaust system. just mt 2 cents, chuck

Those specks are probably soot from the exhaust not oil. Try running with nothing in the oil cup and you will still see the specks. You would have to get the tractor at an extreme angle (to the point of flipping over) to get oil from the air cleaner in the combustion chamber then out the exhaust.

Made them for years, what's your flavor?
