Almost, but not quite as fancy as the one the guy was trying to sell on Hardcore Pawn the other night.

this is a korea or veitnam era duce and a half, its been bobbed, that is the center axle removed, the rear axle moved forward, then the frame is cut off, this one has a custom built cab [ the supercab part, hood scoup added and a custom made bed and probably a vast amount of stuff not visible, these make a off road vehicle on steroids expensive but nearly unstoppable

There is a tan one customized like that near me, dump body on it, now thats a firewood gitter !!! I am going to have to take a photo of it, seeing you posted this one.

Neat. Have to show this one to our 17 year old son. He likes trucks with big tires... this one takes the cake! For sure.

larry@stinescorner,

Showed son when he got home from work. He WAS duly impressed by that "little" silver truck.

Sharp looking truck, but I get nervous when I see those lift kits and big tires.

Just yesterday I was driving a long open stretch of US 136 highway between Tecumseh and Beatrice, Nebraska when I pulled up behind a pickup with probably an 8" lift and big tires. He was going 45mph in a 60 mph zone. Due to a coupla hills, I had to follow him for about a mile. When I finally passed him I saw it was an F250 crew cab unit.

Since it was an open area where any vehicle capable of it would have been going at least the legal 60 mph, I wondered if the thing was simply too squirrely to safely run over 45. Some of these modifications go beyond sensibility and legality.
