So this might be a little off topic but I was reading in a book the other day about the John Deere D"s and there was a quote in there about them. A older gentleman that grew up in the 20"s and grew up around the D"s through their whole span of production said, "If you can find a one owner John Deere D, buy it, as for there is no one man that will ever wear out a D." I just thought I would throw that out there for you guys to read and share. Pretty interesting and absolutely 100% true.

Probably true. They are one totally rugged tractor, and steer & ride hard enough to break down a guy in pretty short order. I know, I still use mine but it gets harder every year.

 Are you implying that not one single owner could keep a John deere D running long enough to ever wear it out?
