ultrasonic critter repeller

Anyone ever use them ultrasonic critter repellers? They're supposed to keep coons an deer away - do they work? Coons are gettin in the tractor shed an makin footy prints on the seat and steering wheel. I took to removing the key so they don't drive off with it......

They're pretty effective at separating you from your money. That's about all.

They do work (at least the type that stake into the ground) for repelling rats and ground burrowing rodents over time. Have no experience with any other type

I bought one from Harbor Freight To get rid of the squirrels that were ruining the foam ceiling insulation in my shop. It helped about 90%, not near as much chewing. I think new ones come in for a while and leave. Used to be a week after vacuuming it would look like it had snowed. Now not as bad after a month.

buy a couple of coon cuffs (google coon cuff)and eliminate the problem.

Bought four of them and placed in sheds, shop and downstairs.. Fourty some bucks each. These have nine different settings for critters and flying insects... Nothing to bragg about... critters seem to get used to the racket and ignore them...

Just put out a bowl of anti-freeze for them. Someplace the pets won't get to.
