Going on the Marcus Iowa tractor ride Sunday. Thought I'd spruce up the old '48 A with a little fresh yellow on the rears. BIL and nephew are taking the old "Green With Envy" Farmall.

Nope, it'll have to run on four. I've never had so much fun with anything in my life as that tractor. The younger folks don't even realize that there is something totally wrong with it. It sure generates interest among the people old enough to know what an H Farmall is.

Anyone thet'd do that prolly kicks their dogs and has their kids runnin around with mullet haircuts......Shameful....

Old Popper,
That's funny - wrong, but funny! Have to show my husband... though we have Farmalls and JDs so we are pretty impartial.

First time I have seen an alternator mounted on the carburetor side on that green Farmallittle H!

I'll have you know that my dog gets treated better than any others that I know of. I don't mind picking on people, however because they can defend themselves. If you are THAT hooked on red, maybe it is you that kicks your dog. Dale

Lightin up a little................

Look what happen when they painted it green. It now takes two people to steer it. Ha Ha. Nothing runs like a Deere. Yep it ran right out of its paint. Ha Ha. I would not stand next to Old Popper in an elec storm. Ha Ha

The H made me laugh. It reminded me of a show I saw on RFDTV a couple years back and they interviewed a guy up in Canada about his tractor and implemet collection. He basically parked everything along the front fence row and no matter what brand it was it was painted John Deere green and yellow. The really sad thing was he just went at it how ever he pleased so the two actually John Deere"s he owned were painted no where close to a factory paint scheme.
