Has anyone thought about publishing a picture book of all the tractor that have been built. I keep thinking of making an index of all my Red Power and Antique Power magazine. Ya like I have time to do that.

Years ago C.H. Wendel put together The Encyclopia of American Farm Tractors. I bought one at a Central Tractor thay was shutting down. Big thick black and white book with alot of information about smaller companies that no longer exist. It came out in the 70s I believe. Thats the only one I know of though.

I have that book it's great to look up Unkown tractors. Great pics and lots of old tractors. A must for the collector I think it's still available on Amazom.

Similarly I was hoping for a book on cornpickers. There's a site www.cornpickerbook.com that still comes up when I check on it but nothing's gone on there for years. It says "in the works for March 2011".

Wife got me two over the last two Christmas'... One is 1000 tractors with pics and a brief technical description, and the other is a little more geared to people just wantin to see the pics and name/year..... tractor lexicon has most stuff.... Don't know if there'd be any copyright issues of you using the resources already available... If just a private library or to share with friends, prolly not.....
