Ford front axle

Why do some 800 and 900 series Fords have a round axle and the others have rectangular ?
Are rectangular available aftermarket ?

Are you thinking 700 instead of 800. The 700 & 900 are the row crop models avabile with the single front wheel, trycicle front end or wide front end and they could have an aftermarket front end. The 800 is the utility tractor and could not have the front end changed, just only being avaible with an industrial front axle for heavy loader work.

The 800/801 series came factory with a wide front and a rectangular type of axle. The 900/901 series is the row crop tractor and could be ordered with a wide front but was more common to have a trike front. So a lot of wide fronts you see on the 900/901 are aftermarket so can be the round tube type because of that
