sound from you tube videos

I've lost sound from You Tube videos. The video is
fine.

I can get sound from my local hard drive videos, but
not You Tube.

Any ideas what is wrong?

The may be over simplifying things Ron, but did you check the volume
and mute controls on YouTube at the bottom left?

Do you have sound on other sites? To ask another way have you lost sound on all sites or just youtube?

Royse, this is embarrassing, but thanks. The
volume control (very hard to find in my opinion)
was all the way down

And I don't know how it
got that way. I probably hit another key in my
rough typing method (hunt and peck) that caused
the problem without my even knowing what I did.

Don't even know for sure how I got it to work now.
The mute control is easily seen and easy to
maneuver, but that pesky tiny volume control
doesn't show itself unless the mouse is EXACTLY in
the right place.

Thanks again for stating what should have been the
FIRST place I should have looked.
