Ford 2110 Help

I"ve got a Ford 2110 tractor and having some trouble. When the tractor is cold all gears shift fine and tractor runs as it should. When it gets warmed up, the tractor speed gets slower and have to gear the tractor down to keep it moving. It finally gets to a point that it will only move in first gear because it won"t pull in any other gear. All gears still shift fine. Its almost like the clutch is still pressed in when it does this. I also noticed that if I drop the rpms when the tractor is moving, that it actually helps the tractor pull a little bit. I"m thinking the clutch is worn out. What is everyones thoughts? I"ve got the clutch adjusted all the way out so I can"t make anymore adjustments there.
Thanks.

It sounds like a clutch problem. perhaps either the rear main seal or tranny input shaft is leaking oil onto it.

As usual, Ford built two completely dfferent tractors and numbered them 2110.
First one was built on the 3000 platform but was an LCG - low center of gravity - built from 1965 to 1975.
The second 2110 was a Shibaura built tractor sold from 1983 to about 1987.
Always mention which tractor you have as they are completely different machines.
That said, it does sound like your clutch. Have you tried adjusting it?

it should have a tach--see if engine rpm comes up & ground speed stays the same--i'm also thinking clutch slippage---

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I tore her down yesterday and the clutch assembly is plum wore out. I have a replacement on the way. I cannot find a clutch alignment tool for this tractor. Does anyone know where to get one? It is a 2110 compact built in 86. It is a dual clutch with 19 & 13 splines. Thanks.

clutch alignment tools are over rated. I have done a few. I just put a little tension on the assembly then line it up by eye using a screwdriver, then tighten it down. I have done a double disc with floater this way as well.

Is there anything I need to pay close attention to when I put her back togeather or any adjustments that need to be made to the clutch. This is the first tractor clutch I have done. I have done numerous truck clutches. In the process of tearing her down, I broke the temp sending unit. Do I have to get the same sending unit or can I get a vehicle sending unit that fits? Didn't know if the ohms were different on them.

I can't tell you about the sending unit but I can tell you that you should replace the transmission input shaft seal, the clutch release bearing, and the motor rear main seal. None of these are difficult to do and it will save you from having to split it again soon after getting it back together.
