Went to an auction in Pennsyltucky, got three new pairs of tires for two grand mounted on new rims. 16.9x38, 13.6x28 and 10.00x16. Rears were Firestone F&R's, fronts were 4 ribs on new JD rims. Some other prices were JD 555 track machine, backhoe, four way bucket and ripper for $11,500, 2520D for $8400, 3020D for $3900, and 950 JD with a loader for $7000. Been pricing shoes for some time for my 6400, cost from local dealer was over $4k mounted, $2K for the fronts. I got these fronts for $500 on new rims, but I have to mount them. Also got a brand new JD toolbox and the mounting plate for $15. Never been on a tractor. Dealers price around $50 for the toolbox and another $20 for the mounting plate.

Nice.
I am dreading the day one of the rear tires on my 4500 calls it quits.
The fronts I know I can handle changing myself.
The rear 24" 10 plys gonna break the bank unless I can find some used already on Ford rims.
