I just brought back a couple of little netherland dwarfs from a recent road trip.

Practically brought my daughter to tears with the cuteness factor.

Kid I got them from assured me they're both females... occurred to me later that he was really very young - probaly had no idea what he was looking at. I hope he was right.

i had a old uncle that raised rabbits for years, and made a fair amount of money at it. folks ate them back then though,i dont know if there would be any market like that anymore.(?) i was at a chicken/ small animal auction back during the summer and was shocked at the prices some folks were paying for them.

Good looking rabbit your daughter and granddaughter have. Never had pet rabbits (just hunted the wild ones) but know some people who have had them as pets. Quite fun to watch when they are out of their cages, supervised of course. Have thought a few times of raising some rabbits for meat, friend's wife who had a pet rabbit is less then thrilled about the idea.

I don't know how much of a market it is, but I remember visiting my brother while he was in the Army, stopping at the Piggly Wiggly and seeing dressed rabbits in the meat department.

Daughter has rabbits and likes them. She has little harnesses for them so she can take them out for walks.

The little critters do bite sometimes.
