RBnSC,
Great photos! Especially love the corn shuck, it's awesome. LOL!!!

Really... great photos and great tractors. Your 4020 is much more green than ours. That is some blade and brush guard on the old girl! Truly a mean green machine.

Do love the F12, rust is my favorite... at first glance I'd have guessed F14 due to the rise in the steering column. Your grandpa must have converted her. Thanks for posting.

I thought You would appreciate that. The pictures are not that great as they are from My phone. We spent the weekend at my parents house and stayed with Dad. His health is bad and we let Mom stay at our house in town. I know that sounds a little strange but with his dementia he will not give her a moments peace if she is there. So we alternate weekends taking him (brothers and sister). I took Him to the farm to get him out of the house and snapped these pics. The 4020 we use in our business for grading and bush hogging it normally would not be at the farm as we have another 4020 that we use there. Our Grandfather bought the F12 in 1937 when He bought the farm on Edisto Island. When the family sold the farm We took our excavator lifted it out of the trees and carried it to the farm My brothers and I bought near where Mom and Dad live.
They live near St. George SC. the home of the World Grits Festival. Seriously. Which is where our family comes from. I am afraid that Mom will not be able to take care of him very much longer as Dad is declining steadily.
We are going to start tearing down a bank today and will have some pictures tonight when I get home. Need a slightly used bank vault door?
Thank You for your friendship. I was a little disconcerted as no one else made any comments.

got home late from pa last night ,caught your pictures this morning, very nice! I thought Iwas the only one taking pictures of the turnip patch,so I was glad to see another!

RBnSC,
Neat that you and siblings are caring for your dad. I don't think I or my husband could handle that - especially involving dementia. Good that your mom is not there alone with him. People with dementia can become very mean and aggressive, even if they were normally a very mild mannered person prior to the dementia. She is safer staying with you kids.

Also neat that you saved your grandpa's F12. Our F20 belonged to my husband's grandpa - he purchased it from his grandma after the grandpa died. Kind of fun to preserve a bit of family history, isn't it?

Thanks also for your friendship and to all on YT. I enjoy it very much!

RBnSC,
Forgot to say... hope you post a pic of the bank vault door. The old ones can be really ornate and beautiful.

Our church was given the building we not own (well, actually sold to us for $1 dollar). Anyway, we remodeled it (was an old bank). It has a beautiful doorway around the old bank vault. My husband and I are the ones who removed the door from the old vault - so it could be used for a prayer room. Quite a job. We had to disassemble layers of it to lighten it up. Finally husband put a big tractor tire on the floor and used a big pry-bar to lift it out of it's hinges and and let her slam down onto the tire. Took 3 guys to carry it out of the building - even though we had taken some layers out of it. It was HEAVY! I was on the remodeling committee - some wanted to obliterate the old framework so that wall would look more modern... I said, "No way, we have to keep it - it is a cool accent to our modern decore". I think it looks great, glad we kept it.

I am not sure I am 56 and as far back as I remember it never ran. So at least 50 years.

I believe you. They are very heavy. The walls are usually about 12 inches thick. This bank is only 5 years old. So this is a fancy stainless steel electronic model. I have to take down the bank to have enough light to take a picture but I will.Today we got the equipment moved and smashed the drive through. Will have pictures tomorrow.

Looked like it had been a while.

My dad and I got my great grandpas AC WC going after it had sit shedded since 1959. Cleaned the gas tank, new filters/fluids and off it went. Couple months of work. Still has the same left rear tire on it. Right side had cracked all the way through.

I use to play on it as a child.I don't think there was much wrong with it then. My Grand father bought an 8N When Dad left home and it sat ever since. Being outside close to salt water did not help.
