Found this Oliver OC3 250 miles from home. My wife said at least this tractor runs! Just needs a grill. Anyone know where I can find one?

Row Crop, No idea on grill. I would try to make one. Never seen an oliver crawler.

Wish I had.

I'm surprised you could carry that on a 10k trailer. Tires don't look overloaded. What does it weigh?

That is nice! There is a place advertised in the Lancaster farm newspaper. The name is ZIMMERMAN TRACTOR,they specialize in Cletrac. I dont know how to post a link, but it will work if you type it in,try it,,,, Larry

I don't know for sure, but I think it must weigh around 5,000 pounds. I bought that trailer to haul my skid steer. The crawler felt lighter than the skid steer while hauling.

Cool! If I"d seen that, it just might have followed me home, too!

I"ve always wanted a JD MC crawler, but they"re pricey. Since we don"t have much use for one, can"t justify the expense.

That is really cute. I've been hoping to find one of those someday, they seem like they would be a really handy little crawler in the woods. Tractordata gives the Cletrac HG weight as 3,200 and it is basically the same as the OC3, just made before the buyout.

Row Crop,

Looks good. Where did you find that at? It seems there is one every week or so popping up on craigslist from east of me and all through the thumb.

I am on a "better not buy anything" warning right now. But I can look all I want, she cant bust me for that!

Rick

Why would you think it weighs that much. It is close to the same power as the 9, 2, & 8N Fords, The John Deere 40 and the AC C & CA at 25 pto horse power. Base was the Cletrac that became the B F Avery A tractor that in very good conditions could pull a 2-12" plow but was a lot better with the single bottom 12 or 14" plow. Only half the power of most small Kubota tractors.

I found it at Brevort, Mich. In the U.P.
Thank you, Larrystinescorners for the Zimmerman tip. I just got off the phone with them. A new reproduction grill is coming my way for $80.00. Can't beat that with a stick!

Cute little bugger. Have you seen that one that's been in the Farm Trader for a year or so? They've been asking $5000 for it. I wish them luck.

Was raised on an HG. Used it to crawl around the hills in southern Indiana cutting and hauling firewood.
Was not happy when dad sold it.

I got this one for half of what they are asking in Farmtrader. And this one has a rebuilt engine. Pushes dirt like a pro!

I know were there's an OC4 with a blade sitting in a fencerow. It was up by the house for about a year, then they pulled it out back. It's the early one with the 66-77 style grille. I should stop and see the old guy and see if he'd sell it,but it's always looked to me like he's kind of a hoarder. Don't know that he's got a lot of years left in him. I know his son,but he's not much different from his dad. Don't know if he'll sell things when the old man's gone or if he'll hoard them for another generation.

You say that the wife put on the better not buy list?
Remember its easier to get forgiveness than it is to get permission.

Row Crop,
It looks like it would be heavy, but the tires on trailer don't look like they are overloaded.
Is it a gasser or diesel?
Have fun.
