Tractor cabin fever

Hi guys , I dyng to get my tractors out for a ride . It's been a long winter nd there is still 3' of snow here in northern ontario

65 deg F in NE-OH , working on power brushing rusty rear tractor wheels outside. Boy am I out of shape.

Where abouts are you? I work out along 17 to the Soo and north to Engelhart a couple of times a year. Brother is just out of T Bay.

I'm in the Soo , and lucky you at 65F -- can't wait until its 65F here so I can take my iron for a ride. It's always been fun starting my 4 tractors and letting them run after a long winter.

I was out on the northwest side of the Soo and met a gent who collects as well. Can't remember his name though. Tried to buy a 44 Special from a guy at Garden River. he was about 4 times too high.

Got this one out today but did not go far, still not running just right. Have not done anything but change points, condenser and plugs so can not under stand what is going on. Took it to a show where I always participate in the town parade and throw lots of candy to the kids about 3 or 4 years ago, ran fine then.

The problem is that it is only running on two cylinders, need to get the other two to fire

It may be your gasoline. Try putting a little Octane 104+ in the tank. I get it from Wal-mart and add it to all my old tractors. I have found it works very well.

Here in NW Pa. it got up into the 60"s..
After cutting a load of fire wood on saturday
with J/D M I started the 620 & 60 that have
been inside since middle of November. Both
took right off, there"s still a 41 Model B
& 1960 530John Deere in the shed that haven"t
seen the sun shine since November but they
will.. We don"t need them in the winter so I
wash"em & put them away.. Only use the M
another model 60,730 & 2750 4wd in the
winter. Won"t be long till they get used 8 hour
or more perday.

I get to ride my '41 9N every 3-4 days.... to empty the manure spreader. It was 70 on Sunday here in Central Ohio. I had to be inside working on laying new laminate flooring.
