Way OT. Funny video

I loved it. Had seen parts of it on TV, but was great to see the ending, and the salesman handled it pretty well after the prank was revealed.

We had a State Patrol guy who used to mess with the local cops, after he retired from the Patrol. He had been to a bunch of driving schools, and could do some great stuff with a car- like power-slide into the other lane and reverse direction, without getting out of the lane. Nobody wanted to throw the book at him, so the local cops just finally stopped letting him bait them- just waved and smiled at him.
 
Must be the Jeff Gordon test drive? I saw something about it, some of the driving was done by a lesser-known racer.

Along Mike"s story, I"ve heard stories about some military base where there was a long straight road nearby with long rolling hills, and always a traffic cop along it. Some of the chopper pilots would come in low over the highway, light up his radar, and when they went over, he"d shut the lights off and pull over.
 

The video is faked. On another forum it was talked about. They used Brad Noffsinger from the Richard Petty Driving Experience to do the stunt driving. There are numerous burn outs from the same spot. The camera is on Gordon at the start and never see his face until the end. They used actors for the filming, you see a couple of faces blurred out. These are the one that didn't sign a release.
Pepsi used Will Farrell's production Company for the filming of the stunt.
