The Club that I was in required the tractor to be able to maintain 10MPH.

Our club requires 10 MPH minimum.So figure 1 1/2 hour per 10 miles traveled.gotta count stop signs,waitin on traffic,stopping to check on other drivers....

yes our local club averages aprox 9 miles a hour but when i check the speed of a jd B or a M they are listed at 5mph which is a bit slow may have to split them and let them start nearer mike

There is always a JD "B" in with the 10 to 15 group.

Not that I really care, but it"s a fact of life.

Yeah, 9 MPH is a good average. Watch out for the Farmall B and other small tractors. They can't keep up.

It isnt the tractor its the operator who doesent have his machine in good running order this applies to all colors. Some people also dont try to keep up with the leaders and there are some leaders who dont know how to lead going 10 MPH.
