NH 273 manual needed

I recently bought a NH 273 baler and need a manual. Or, a grease fitting location chart would work for now. If any of you have a used manual and no longer need it, let me know. Also, is there any spray lube that is needed on the knotters?

If you don't turn up a used one you can call any NH dealer and get a reprint in ~2 weeks for probably less than 40 bucks.
Only thing the knotters need is grease. 1-2 pumps on each nipple. Should be 6-7 on each side of the knotter. Remember... modesty is important when greasing a knotter. 1-2 shots is plenty...
Beyond that there's probably a couple on the needle frame, couple more on the knotter bell crank/drive and the rest would be on any drive line crosses or shaft telescopic points....

Check ebay, and believe you can still get through NH dealer.

You probably don;t need to spray knotters, except for protection from rust in storage. I like to coat business parts with grease instead of sprays - tends to last longer.

and on the fly wheel, plunger, universal joints. Take you"r time and look the thing over, timeing chain to the knotters needs to be tight. Might want to take out the hold down bolt on each knotter and swing it up to check the cut off knives, bill hooks, and wipper...one pump of greese is more than plenty on the knotters (each serk), and do not spray oil on it, it gets very dusty back there.
