Generator wiring

I was brush hogging and a tree branch pulled the wiring off the generator. I cannot find anything to tell me how it goes back to the connections. Please advise. The local shop could not help.

If the wires are still connected to the regulator just connect them to the same marked posts on generator.

n what? Craftsman or Caterpillar?

Not knowing what you have and if its a 3 terminal or a 4 terminal VR or a Cutout Relay etc. and if its a Class A or B system I will still throw out some info so NO WARRANTY

BAT on VR wires up to Ammeter (If it has one)

FLD on VR wires to Generators FLD post

GEN/ARM on VR wires to Generators ARM post

(L)oad on VR (if it has one) feeds hot battery voltage up to ign and light switches

Best I can do based on available info
