Antique Tractor Bridge Crossing

Sounds like fun! Many years ago we were there on Labor Day and they had a "bridge walk" for pedestrians. Wonder if they still do that on Labor Day?

Had to watch the whole video, to see if the insipid music would stop. It didn't.

Seems like it would occur to the guy that just maybe old tractor guys would rather HEAR THE TRACTORS than a 3 chord progression blues riff over and over and over again for 3 minutes. . .

Rant complete. Resuming normal activities. Thank you for your patience.

I don't know what 3 cord blues or what ever you said, but it sure sounds like NOISE. I would rather listen to the engine sounds any day.

We ( me,wife, son &grandson) are just going up to watch this year. Drove tractor 3 yrs ago. Fun time. Hope to drive again next year. Will be better this yr as all tractors will stay in show lots in town of St Ignace instead of 2 miles up the road at Casino. The women will have something to do this way. Also one week earlier than truck show so one can get a descent motel room. Should be a better deal overall and ensure the longevity of the event.

Leaving Thursday early afternoon after I make my morning semi run.
I and most I talk with liked the old date better because we enjoyed looking the trucks over. Being a semi owner I can understand the amount of work that goes into it to show a truck at that level.

I too enjoyed the truck show and parade of lights but the injuns kicking us out to make a campground left Owosso Tractor Parts with little option but to move the date or not hold the event at all. With over 900 tractors last year and likely again this year the show is popular enough to stand in it's own and St. Ignace really seems to have done everything possible to accommodate us all downtown.

Got here about 2 pm and the place is a madhouse. Some really nice tractors too. Hopefully the rain holds off tomorrow and Saturday!
