Corn looks great there Jim. I measured some of mine earlier this year, was 11' tall. Gold Country seed. Hope your crop yields well this Fall.

Nice picture, all the good things on life there. :)

I have some of the shortest corn, and some good tall stuff too here. Odd year.

Kow, I picked 2 loads of mine along the ditch, they want to clean it out this year and threatened to come in a bit early since I have field road for them to work on.

Anyhow, that is the tallest greenest corn I have back in there. And it is looking pretty dry almost keeps on the ear already, we will be surprised on how quick this stuff dries down!

Ears are real small around tho.

Looks nice - some of the corn around here looks pretty shabby. Some would only come to their knees. Think a lot won't even get harvested. Not even worth running a silage chopper in. We didn't get rain at the right times, and a lot of corn got in late. Also have heard some grumbling about bad seed.

You need to come down here and drive County Farm Ray. Pretty impressive for corn that was planted June 21st if I do say so myself. Been gonna park a tractor next to it and take a picture but haven't got around to it. What little I've chopped, the ears are almost to the top of the fenders on the big White.

Nice crop of corn. Your corn is like mine in one respect, the tassel barely made it out of the whorl. Is that a variety thing, or an environmental or chemical thing? I did plant different varieties that I had not planted before. Have seen quite a lot of corn with short tassel stems here in Ky. Joe
