another hydraulic question

On my tractor with a front mount gear pump ( not sure of GPM) if I use an adjustable flow control valve on the pressure line, will that allow me to reduce the flow to operate a snow plow valve ( old fisher type) and the rest of the flow return to the tank? Or is there another type of Valve that will accomplish this?
Thanks

An adjustible steering priority valve will work. The valve must be capable of operating with at least the flow and pressure settings of the pump. Thus the pump will need to be identified or tested to assure the priority valve will be correct for the application. Jim

I would put small adjustable flow valves right on the cylinder(s) that way you won't restrict the main line flow and also you may want one cylinder to operate slower or faster than the others. Just my thoughts on the subject.
