Found these while hauling manure today at work in a couple fields I don't vet to very often.

Yes it would be. One of the many trees growing around it has grown into some of the metal.

They were taken in Ionia county in central Michigan.
Also in the area was an old burnt house and a barn
foundation with a neat silo. Maybe before I leave
tonight I'll get pictures of them.

That may be a JD #30 combine since it is auger feed.

Nice stuff. I always wonder about the "how" and "why", what the thought was when the hitch pin was pulled that final time.

Rrlund didn't have time to investigate my finds real close so I'm not sure. Was that a dealer in the area. I think you are from around the area.

Lower was in Ionia. Lich was in Portland. Jonas was in Belding. I don't remember the name of the dealer in Lake Odessa.

I'm in Montcalm County.

You aren't related to Alan Halfmann are you? He's my younger brother's age.

Probably, I'll just set this here for a couple of days and come back and get it before it snows/after the planting is done/when this mud dries up/after harvest, whatever.

There was an Allan Halfmann in Fowler who I believe may have been some way related. I actually live gratiot county.

That disk would be easy to get out. Just a couple of pins and the gangs will separate. Not too hard with a couple of people to carry the individual pieces out..

Live in Gratiot county but working in Ionia county? Long days!

Were you hauling from the corner of Jefferson and Hubel,what used to be Arend's place? I saw trucks coming and going when I went to and back from Lake Odessa yesterday.
