No manual from Lowes mystery

A post on here jogged my memory about a Troy Bilt power washer I bought at Lowes and they couldn't find the manual. I eventually had to give up on them and got on line and downloaded a PDF version of the operator's manual and parts list. The mystery is that on both the machine and PDF it says Troy-Bilt is a registered trademark of MTD and is used under license to Briggs & Stratton Power Products, however, the pressure washer has a HONDA motor. Isn't that like Coke filling their bottles with Pepsi?

I have a Lowes Troy Built power washer with a Honda engine on it as well.

Beware - I heard those throw away cheapo Hondas like to break timing belts.

I have worked on those pressure washers for 5 years, and never have seen a broken belt in the Honda engine. I have seen some mangled rocker arms that were caused by stuck intake valves though. Keep good fresh fuel in her and the engine will outlast the rest of the unit.

I always fill my tanks with Stabil treated fuel and run them a minute or two before putting away for the season. It does look a little different than my other Honda motors but hopefully will last like them. Starts first pull.

I bought a commercial grade 20ft extension wand so I could pressure wash my house and pole barns from the ground. The thrust from the spray 20 foot up can poop out an old man's shoulders in no time. Need two boys and their pony to hold that wand up for more than a few minutes. Beats doing it on a ladder, though.
