Gas prices falling
Gas prices have been falling for several days now a few days ago it was $3.26/3.28 today in Nashville GA it was $3.01 . A few weeks ago I would have said we would never see it much lower than the 3.20s

I still don't know why it took such a jump last week? I hauled cattle Tuesday, pulled in to get fuel and the station was packed. Gas was 3.14. I had to go look for some parts later in the day,one station was packed to overflowing, gas was 3.09,the one across the road was vacant, gas was 3.45. At the end of the day oil was down 48 cents.

I saw today it was 3.27. Go figure.

$2.839 in Omaha today! About a month ago AAA told us we would NEVER see gas under $3 again!!! Not sure what happened!

Not here in NY(!).

Cheapest gas is still 3.69. And diesel has been stuck at 4.05 for months.

I live NW of Harrodsburg and will be in Bedford to buy gas this Thursday, they are usually cheaper then Blolomington. I was just in Texas and bought gas for $2.89

Mobil on the Run here in MO is advertising gas .20 cheaper than the guy across the road. In small print at the top of the sign it states that price good with a premium car wash. Not sure what a premium car wash costs. Whatever the cost, this is plain deceiving the public.

Yep, thanks to good old ny"s high tax on gas and diesel. .50
cents higher than other states I've read.

Don't pay much attention to gasoline prices, but I believe they're just shy of $4 at the corner station. Diesel is $4.15.

Can generally drive just across the border into Oreegone and save $.50

Here in Lancaster co, Pa a local chain put the
price from 3.23 to 3.35 on Sunday. Still 3.24 at
another place not far away.

US refiners now have access to cheaper domestic oil which gives them a larger profit margin for diesel fuel demands in europe and south america, which are high. In the process, they end up with more gasoline on their hands which no one else in the world wants.

The spring and fall blends are cheaper to make. Summer and winter blends are more expensive for pollution. Wouldn't you pollute all year long? The old golden rule, "Them who makes the gold makes the rules".

I never thought I'd consider 3.14 a good price but thats what it was here yesterday. Heard it could be down to $3 or even a little less by the end of the year. No complaints here if it keeps falling, doubt it will hurt consumers.

Gotta remember that 70 cents of that is State and Fed tax Bob, 75 for diesel. Not sure on the breakdown, but I think NY's fuel taxes are the highest in the nation.
