sale products today, to Veterans!
Lots of other places have discounts also.
 
Applebys has free lunch for veterans. Couple of years ago a friend and I (both vets) decided to take it in- and found at least an hour wait, probably more, with the line coming out the door. Thanks, but no thanks.

Golden Corral also has free meal for vets- didn't pay much attention to what time, as we don't have those here.

Great Clips is giving free haircuts to all Vets today. My wife was the only female customer in the place.
 
Mike, there is no wait time at my Golden Corral. The board of health shut it down too many times. So Golden Corral shut it down.

We tried Golden Coral last Veteran's Day. They were lined up clear out the door and all the way around the building. We came back home.

Home Depot offers a 10% discount to active duty, guard, reserve, disabled vets and military retirees year round.

Going to Applebee's here is ridiculous on Veteran's Day. We got tired of waiting a couple of hours sometimes and tried having an early dinner last year. Still waited an hour to be seated. Just staying home this year. I do appreciate that they are doing something for us :D but the Army trained me to hate waiting in lines :shock: :evil: .

Passed a Golden Corral at 4:45 today. Long line out the door and all the way down the building. It may have snaked around the rear of the building also. The ads over the weekend on TV showed vets eating in Golden Corral and there were empty seats to be seen. Probably not reality.
