Fuses in changeover

Changing my b414 to the new Bosch glow plugs and somehow lost the info as to where i should install the fuse or fuses..Do i install between battery and relay or in the wires that go from relay to new glow plugs?? What amperage would i need and any other helpful info..Thanks

I don't know the size of the fuse you will need, but in general any fuse should be located as close to the power source as practical.

If I remember correctly each glow plug draws about 10 amps. If you're using a relay in the circuit I would put a fuse as close to the power source.

A relay uses two circuits so I would put a fuse on the primary side and load side.

Since a purpose of the fuse is to protect the circuit from overcurrent, in order to protect as much of the circuit as possible, Id place the overcurrent protection device at the voltage/energy source i.e. the battery.
