block heater cord

my older b414 has a pyroil model 725-150 block heater and the cord is done ..Anyone know where i can purchase one .. Thanks

I've gotten mine from NAPA. The local store stocks them with a couple different connecter types.

Most of the time when a block heater cord is "used up" so is the heater... the contact prongs are likely burned, overheated, rusted, or corroded.
Is this a block heater (as you state) or a "tank heater"/

If it's a block heater, replacement cord is $15 to $25, if you can find one, and a new heater probably $25 to $35, NOT worth risking a fire over!

It is bottom hose heater..It is vey fast and hate to throw it out but i think your suggestion makes a lot of sense..A new one is probably the best solution.. Thank you
