-7° as of 8:00 a.m. Not sure how much more of this my 275,000 20+ year-old car & van can take. No warm-up in the forecast, but the days are definately getting longer.

Yeah, this winter is kicking me in the backside as well. Just yesterday Im wondering how much fuel was wasted from letting cars and tractors warm up.

Here too.
I don't know why but this has just been a darned tough winter. Normally you just hunker down and deal with it but this year I'm sick of it.
I think we've had one day above 32 in the last 40 or so.
No good news for the next 10 days either.
10 day forecast

I see people with a garage full of junk and car sits outside.

That's why I keep car and truck in a warm garage.
No problems with frost, ice, snow, rain. Push a button, garage door opens and away I go.

However, I'v also wondered just how much gas is wasted when parents insist on driving their darlings to school after the school bus goes past their house? How much gas is wasted because people are too lazy to get out their car, instead they use drive up windows? Many of those people could use the exercise.

It was below zero here too.
I think I've just got numb to it.
I guess I'm not going to worry about it but it would be nice to see an end to it.

My truck sits in garage at home but like yours sits out at work. Tractors are all in sheds but still have to be plugged in to start once you do start them you have to let the hydraulics warm up so you don"t do any damage there.

Someone said last September that the almanac was predicting a cold winter, if they did predict that, they were right this year! We're expecting a snow storm for Wednesday. Lol

my brother told me last night that on groundhog day of 96 it was -38F, I dont't like the single digits above or below zero but it could be worse

I see people with two cars in a warm garage and no junk that have to borrow every little thing from the neighbor because they wouldn't think of having anything in the garage.
