OT: Power Outage

We had a power outage at my house this morning and my PC, laptop, TV, DVD, iPad & my new surround sound music system were all shut down.

Then I discovered that my iPhone battery was flat and to top it off it was raining outside, so I couldn't play golf.

I went into the kitchen to make coffee and then I remembered that this also needs power, so I sat and talked with my wife for a few hours.

She seems like a nice person.
 
Surprising what happens in an emergency ain't it. lol Has your wife came out of shock yet. Just kidding.

By the way. The latest Harbor freight paper has a new listing. The 8oook generator is not the largest now. They just listed a 13k or 15k unit! It is over $1500 range. It looks REALLY big. Was on the right hand page of the flyer. Not even on their web page yet. I don't have the fler here but most likely it is in your mail box.

LMAO!!! I did read a survey report that showed the #1 reason for a wife cheating on the hubby was related to the hubbies use of the aforementioned electronic devices.....and the lack of attention paid to the wife.

Moved to the country about 15 years ago. Had a big party with a lot of my city friends. Nice weather but had an electric outage. No water. All the guys went potty in the woods. Seems my best friend must have hosed down a chigger nest. He had to go to the emergency room that night! I have a generator now!
 
Reminds me of a blackout we had here in the North-East years ago. Nine months later the berth rate went up.
 
Ever time I mention Generac someone want to say how sorry they are but here is my 20KW unit that kicks on in less than a minute when power goes out. Runs on propane that we already had and after 4 years has been flawless including powering us thru two multi day outages as well as several other shorter ones. Would not be without one now after having it. We are in a remote area at the end of the line. Always the last one to get the power restored.
