It looked like it needed a home.......

This is the H I picked up at a consignment auction the other day for $450. Everything seemed to work OK when I drove in on my trailer to haul it home, although the carb dripped a bit whenever the gas was turned on at the sediment bowl. But, that's no big deal. For the price, I didn't expect it the be perfect.

Haven't decided yet if I'll paint it. The overall plan is to move the loader from the H in the background onto this one and restore that one 'cause it's been in the family over 50 years.

I'll give you $460 for it.

She's a beaut! $80 at tractor supply for some red paint and decals and that would be a real looker.

Great deal, and a very nice looking H, even the metal looks straight. I never saw a muffler like that before, is it very tall or is it just the angle of the photos?

That is in line of vhat they should sell fur.
Forty years ago I vas buying running tractors fur around $100.00 and then the interest in antiques hit and everybody vanted a tractor and the price vent through the roof.

Things were in my favor. It was a horrible day, the auction was in an open field with no protection, temp was about 5 above with a 20 mph north wind. Then out of the entire auction, this was the 7th from the last item to sell and a lot of the crowd had checked out by then.

I spent most of the day in my pickup with the heater going.

With cars and pickups, too, I always kind of sit back and let the deals come to me.
