NFMS 2014 Starts Tomorrow in Louisville!

"National Farm Machinery Show" for those who didn't know. 850 exhibitors, in 8 Connecting buildings, at 1.2 million square feet on the KY State Fairgrounds. I may go in the morning, or Friday when its supposed to freeze rain, I think. Mid forties, & partly cloudy for Thursday means heavier than normal traffic. Saturday, doesn't matter what the weather You cant walk without bumping elbows!
 
Yep always a BIG crowd and I always seem to find a hungry friend or neighbor or both at lunch time. I always enjoy it when I go.
 
No offence to anyone,just a question.I have only missed 4 shows since 1970 and being there 2 to 4 days at a time and still finding new things on the second-third and fourth day.HOW can anyone go 1 day and see and enjoy it?? Plus I don't eat there because of the crowds.
 
I pass up most of the common companies; such as John Deere, & Case-IH. I can drive under 30 miles, & see new stuff sitting on dealer lots. If I have time; then I might go back to them. But You are right in that 1 day isn't enough to see everything, & do it right! I like to see the smaller individual companies that have unique items, or equipment that normally does not have a dealer in my area!
 
Well I will leave here 5:30 in the morning drive 4 hours walk thru for 4 hours and be back in time to go to church. Worked it 6 day weeks for years all I do now is go see a few old buddies and get out of there. looks like no snow tomorrow.
