Interesting B.F. Avery on Craigslist

This looks like a neat setup, if I was closer to it I would think about
buying it but it is too far away since I don't have a way to haul it.
Anybody seen a platform like that on a tractor before?

It's probably fine as long as you don't have to load wood from the top of the pile , or load the tractor on a high trailer !

A lows slung belly mount wood carrier, it does look neat for the right use.

Here by me we go from mud season to snow season, and that would be high-centered and ripped off in a short amount of time, totally useless. but for the right situation, pretty neat.

With that open drive shaft right between you legs it would be fun to hit a big bump or have a ujoint come loose.

I Have an Avery A with one front wheel and a Datsun 60 HP engine and tranny in front of the Avery tranny. 12 forward speed and 8 reverse speeds have clocked it at 45 MPH.

I'm guessing that's how the milk cans used to get toted out to the road, or slop out to the hog pen or maybe feed out to calves or other stock, or it you're really primitive water to stock.
