That works, priority valves are normal, no one will chide you for going that way. Jim

Priority valves are fine, but you may have to shim your pressure relief valve a little tighter.

Works and in your case may be just as well. Plenty of places there in the middle of the tractor to hid it. Surplus center has something that will work.
