OT Storms

A line of storms is heading into Eastern Iowa. Wind has been blowing 30 mph out of the East for 2 days.

We had an inch here west of Albert City this afternoon. My gauge has shown 1.9" since Wednesday night and the soil is soaking it up like a sponge. The low spots in the fields don't show even an inkling of wanting to pond. I have 100 acres of corn left to plant but it's in one rectangular field with 1/2 mile rows so I should be able to whip it out in a day barring any breakdowns. Jim

Our Daughter in Iowa City texted it was hailing there. We got .7 WC Iowa.

You must be close to Upland. I was on 80 by Hastings at 2:26 today when it touched down.
