Dad sent me a picture of the new beater's first load. It's so wet we can't get in the fields yet, but he's gotta clean out the cow yard a little bit so he's moving from 1 pile to another at this point.

Well at least your not doing what a neighbor did. Stupid
hillbilly backed up to the property line and shot it into the
neighbors pond.

They called the sherrif. I would have burn down his house......

I agree that was a stupid thing to do but in our efforts to clean the streams and rivers to that pristine Sky Blue Waters look we forget that the buffalo and cattle stand in the water during the hottest time of the season for relief and don't think the beaver or fish jump up on dry land to relieve themselves.

That would be your SUPER garden. My dad would do that every other year. There would be a lot of weed seeds but stufff sure would grow!
