spreading manure?

Has anyone spread manure in mushroom patch? Did it help? If it did what did the mushrooms taste like?

This isn't a joke, neighbor has horses. He claimed he found very large mushrooms growing on his poo pile. So I was wondering if you spread the wealth on the mushroom patch would it help next year?

don't know about the mushrooms, but I put manure around my tomatoes 2 days ago and after the rain stopped I bet they grew 6 inches,..we'll see what they taste like

Horse manure is what they use on mushroom farms here for making the compost in which they grow the mushrooms.

Last Fall, I bladed manure out of a hog pen. Looked at the small pile the other day and noticed I have 3 or 4 watermelon plants poking up out of it.

I don't know if it's true, but the local horse track is rumored to haul all of their manure pile to a mushroom soup company.
