Wife and I just got back from tracking Ivan down. It took a few phone calls to my sister on the coumpter to zero us in.
Ivan drove between 90 and 100 miles today from New Haven, Indiana to East of Logansport, Indiana. He is camping in a barnyard over night. Another big/long day tomorrow as he needs to make Illinois Saturday.
We got there and met Ivan and as we talked another couple drove up. We did not stay long, took a few photos and made a donation for the Warriors.
Talk about a realy NICE tractor. The tractor club that helped with the build did a fantasic job.

Really glad you got to meet him.. I just wanted to try to give those a heads up so he has a better chance to make his efforts worthwhile ..
Those further down the line could have an opportunity to change his course a bit with making plans to sponsor an event for him.

He might even drive Johnabuilt back another route .. If Johnabuiilt still has the heart too , after dipping his feet in the Pacific..
 
Roy , Thanks for your orginal post about this, I would have never heard about this event. If you go through his website ,has a story and video of a FOX News story. Ivan told us he will be doing a live spot on Fox today (Friday)by phone. I think noon news.

I could only imagine how many times he may have had second thoughts of his adventure, until he gets within a crowd of supporters.
I would love to see many convoys , like the famous bridge crossing lead/ follow him into some better supportive events.

I really feel bad media don"t have more coverage with a daily report on this ride. I"m just glad there is an activity section to tell he is running , and there is no Panic situation.
No I don"t set here all day watching him run.. I do check often tho.
