Question about a MF 583 clutch

I might should have posted this below in the MF forum, but I think this is a common issue: I loaned my MF 583 tractor with dual-stage clutch to a family member (I know, I should have known better). Anyway, when he returned it, the PTO portion of the clutch works and operates normally. The second stage, controlling the transmission, does not engage the clutch until the very last amount of upward clutch pedal travel.Before, it engaged a couple of inches lower in the upward travel. Is this an adjustment issue, or did he likely wear my clutch out. I did some heavy disking, it does not feel like its slipping whatsoever.

Readjust and then see how it does it a simple thing to capered to splitting the tractor.

Never fails when we loan stuff. Heck, a few weeks ago I loaned a technician an OIL CAN, yes, just an oil can, and he managed to tear it up..

Anytime I loan anything out, I loan myself out along with it as the operator. Lesson learned.
