New one for me

I was mowing hay after dark last night and a tree frog ended up on the window. Got to watch him eat a fly that was further up on the window. He rode for a few more rounds and jumped off.

We have them climb our upper level windows and French doors. I had one on the inside of my windshield the other morning. I forgot to roll the windows up.

I had one drop down on the fender when I was cutting one of the first fields. Startled the heck out of me when he jumped on my bare arm.

Years ago dad was plowing and the dog chased up a badger. The badger ended up hopping up on the tractor by dads feet on the Ollie 88.

That sure got dads attention.......

isn't it great to be country folk and notice stuff like that,
a city slicker would have turned on the windshield wipers and cussed that big bug.

Yep.We are the lucky ones.We get to see all kinds of wildlife that the rest of the world doesnt even know exists.

We do see all kinds of wildlife. But the neatest thing is to watch bumble bees smack the windows and I am safe inside and cool! Also those horse flys riding the hood thinking they can get a meal. Vic

Not sure who is talking about badgers and who is talking about tree frogs, but a badger on the platform with me will sure get my attention. Tree frog, not so much.

Was bush-hogging late one night, at the tree line, dodging all the tree limbs going by, and laying on one limb so I had to duck my head to miss him was a big green snake... waiting for supper, I guess.
