Did you get that 100 acres done?

I"ve been getting the combine ready for fall. Every part I replace I find other wore parts in the same area that I did not see at first.

Just about all the way around the combine so I may get her done in time.

Got 80 acres done.

Planter decided to blow a tire at 4pm, so by the time I got that crisis dealt with, it was close to dark when I finished the patch I was on.

Planting at 4.6 mph and that's "crowding it" a little bit, but I'm in a hurry as there's a long way to go yet. :>(

I was waiting to see what you said about planting speed. My Dad there in Big Spring, Nebr, Always said people plant to fast. He did a lot of testing at different speeds, and came up with the same number. 4.5 tops. I think he was pulling a 42' crust buster with a 826, then a 3688, and last one was 7110. Wish you a good crop.
