Has anyone installed Snow Bars on their steel roofs? If I'm going to do it I better get them ordered, takes a week to get them. Looking for something to prevent the snow from bending the gutters on the cabin. I put the gutters well below the 5/12 roofline but the snow curls down and catches most years.

Bad idea.
When the snow load gets to heavy it will take the bars right off and tear the roof tin to boot..
My brother can tell you all about it.
3 feet of wet snow and ice was all it took

I was just talking to the gutter guy about the same thing. He suggested i do it myself with angle iron. I was thinking galvanized angle maybe 1and a half inch x 2inches long and maybe at least one foot apart.I don't really want to must build up.Just my thoughts.

my builder used what I believe is corrogated steel siding starter strip ( the piece the steel sits on at the bottom of the wall). Once I figured out what they used I felt well overcharged for two 30ft runs.
My roof pitch is 7/12 pitch and they work well
